What do you need from us to start?

A short call to get set up, the competitors and brands you want to be compared against, and a few numbers our tools can't see — sessions, conversion rate, AOV, roughly how many developer hours a month go to site changes. Access is read-only and temporary.

Who runs the audit?

A lead engineer or architect, start to finish. The same person who writes the recommendation presents it.

Who should be on the presentation?

Whoever owns ecommerce, whoever runs merchandising day to day, and whoever owns the app budget. Bring anyone who'd need convincing either way.

What format is the deliverable?

A written document, delivered before the presentation so you can read it first. Yours to keep, forward, or hand to another agency.

Can you capture years of customization in five days?

Not from memory — nobody can. Your theme is a file system, not a memory: every section, setting, snippet, metafield, script, and integration is enumerable, and our tooling reads all of it. You don't get asked what you built; you get handed a list of what you built.

What if the answer is that we shouldn't migrate?

Then that's what the document says, along with the conditions that would change it. It happens a few times a quarter.

Do we have to use you for the migration?

No. The document stands on its own — plenty of it is useful whether you hire us, hire someone else, or do nothing.

Is the $2,500 refundable?

It's credited, not refunded. If you book a Horizon Sprint within 30 days of delivery, the full fee comes off the price.

Does the audit speed up the migration itself?

Yes, materially. The audit has already documented what your store does, so a Sprint starts with a one-to-two-day review and sign-off rather than a fortnight of investigation. It's the reason we can hold a four-week timeline at a fixed price.

What does the migration itself cost?

$40,000 for a single store and single market, $75,000+ for multistore or multimarket. Four weeks. We publish the prices, but we won't quote your specific project without having looked at it — which is what the audit is for.

What's not included in the audit?

Accepted Answer

The audit covers your current state, compatibility, scores, benchmarks, what you'd gain, and what it's worth. It isn't a design critique, a CRO study, or a code security review.
