Yes, and there's no version of it that isn't. We build these because they start good conversations, and because a fair number of the stores we run them on turn out not to need anything from us.

What do you do with my email?

We send you the scorecard. After that we may follow up about it, and we occasionally send the data we publish — release tracking, benchmarks, that sort of thing. One click unsubscribes and we don't sell or share it.

Do you need access to my store?

No. Everything on the scorecard comes from publicly available data — the same things any visitor's browser can see.

Why do you want to know which brands I admire?

Because it's usually the more interesting comparison. Competitors tell us who you're measured against. The brands you admire tell us what you're actually trying to build toward — and those are often not in your category at all.

How accurate is the scorecard?

Accepted Answer

Every measurement is run three times and reported as the median, throttled to mobile conditions. You can re-run any of it yourself and land in the same range.

I'm not thinking about migrating. Is this still useful?

It's the most common reason people ask for one. Knowing where you sit on speed, accessibility, and technical SEO is worth having regardless of what you do about it.
